Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve was chaotic. People opening their gifts almost simultaneously. I didn't know who to take pictures of first. Everyone was so happy with what they got, no matter how simple the gifts were.
Most of the photos turned blurry (because everyone was laughing so hard) but I was able to fix some.

And the last thing that was opened was my sister's gift for my mom
Who can top anything that comes in those pretty little boxes?

It must be that good

More photos coming soon.

City Slickers

I've been running around the city like a tourist for a week now. I've been sick for a week too. The storm in L.A. was awful. I've had enough of the rain and can't wait to bask in the sun.

Our Christmas was awesome. Everyone had simple gifts but everyone seemed like they got a new car. It is indeed an unforgettable Christmas for us as this happens very rarely (family under one roof because we all live at different parts of the world).

Around the house

We have a full house. My family from Canada came three days ago and it has been the busiest three days ever. Running around the city for last minute gifts during the worst storm in L.A. was not ideal but we gotta do what we gotta do. It was so much fun being with my sister again after four long years!

Here are some snapshots of things around the house today...

Boxes and boxes of chocolates.
Whenever I see these, it reminds me of Forrest Gump.
A very happy puppy.
Christmas came early for this little dude, he loves his pink and silver bed so much.

Hours and hours of wrapping present after present.
Early Christmas gifts from people.
candles and snowmen.
And a cute little boy in a box watching tv.
I wonder how your house looks like at the busiest time of the year.

Favorite Spaces {my twins}

For Favorite Spaces today, I've decided to feature my 14 year old twin daughter's room.
---
They have a hot pink room which I painted myself. Their room is filled with vintage and the color palette as you can see is pink, black and gold.
This is an old school desk I found on one of my many vintage hunting trips.
We are Alice in Wonderland obsessed!
A vintage German Chocolate tin box used as money box
Mr. Toast
My mister gave them his XM radio because they love listening to music way too much
I made these. Inspired by Confetti System
Vintage ornate mirror. We can't get enough of this!
Old trunk. I bought them with stickers and all.
Their accessories on a handmade organizer I made out of a wooden frame and cork

Handmade necklace organizer, proudly made by me.
Isn't this a beaute?
