Hello beautiful!

The Vivienne Westwood shoes came a day early! I'm so happy. It smelled like new, it looked like new, no flaws and I'm a happy girl!

Can I keep both?

My kids love it too!

It feels like it's my birthday!

I got a size 5 this time, a size smaller than I normally wear and it fits perfectly! and I am much, much happier with this color than the lilac one.

taken against the mirror. I love the effect.

It reminds me of pink Barbie shoes.
Though the first order was kind of a nightmare, Zappos' customer service lives up to their award winning service. I can't wait to dance around in these shoes! or just stare at them.

Hello and goodbye

I forgot to tell you that the Vivienne Westwood shoes that I ordered from Zappos already came in the mail last week. So pretty.
But upon closer inspection. There was a crack on the sole and the letter d on the westwood imprint is coming off...

The box also looked so old like the shoes were a return or something. I know I got these shoes on sale but I won't be paying $85 for something that looks like they were second hand.
I'm also a size 6 but these shoes were way too big. So I chatted with Zappos online to arrange an exchange. They were extremely nice! I've decided to get it in size 5 (hopefully it fits) and in my original choice of fuschia with a red heart.
This is going back, bye bye lilac! I will get the new pair tomorrow. Update coming soon.

Unique Los Angeles part 2

A lot of you may have been waiting for the photos I took of your booth from unique L.A. but unfortunately, my memory card stopped working while I was resizing the photos. These are the only ones that I was able to retrieve. It's so devasatating. The photos of my kids disappeared with all the other photos on that 8gb memory card and I hope that someday it would just start working again. Does anyone know if anyone repairs these things?

I apologize to all of you who may have been waiting for those photos. You would have loved them if you saw them. I have and that even makes it all worse. I would love to have those photos back from the grave.

But anyways, that's technology for us, it makes or breaks us.
Here are some photos of the event for you... And the last ones that I have of it.
Enjoy...

A happy Monday to you my lovely readers.

Nesting...

I should mention that we just moved a few months ago. Well, I should say 'expanded'. We used to live in a one bedroom space (yes, and we are a 6 member family!) in the front part of the house and my uncle and his family lived at the back part. ('eh, It's an Asian thing) They moved out recently and we opened the door that separates the two spaces and now we have 7 bedrooms! A music room,3 bedrooms,2 offices and baby's room. Plus 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen to furnish and decorate. And I usually do the painting etc. We have a long way to go but it's quite fun.

The first room that I've finished was the twin's bedroom. And it was on Ohdeedoh's small space, big style contest. Unfortunately, I only got a few votes, the site did not inform me that It was up so I was not able to tell my friends and family about it :(

But being included in one of my favorite websites to visit was very exciting.
You can see more photos here

We try not to buy new furniture. We love old things or things that we can repaint or rework. We surround ourselves with our favorite things. It's so much fun and satisfying to live in a house that is painted with our favorite colors, filled with art and other beautiful things we so love.

Some people may not like it but it's okay as long as we do then it's the best place we can ever be in.

More photos will be posted soon.
