Time has wings

and it can fly fast... So you better run after it!
My twins are graduating on Thursday and will begin high school on the next school year. I still have to pinch myself every now and then because I still can't believe it. It seems just yesterday when I held them in my arms the first time.

And now, they are almost as tall as me, walking around the house wearing my platforms and constantly nagging me if they can go to school wearing it. My 'no' has always been firm but deep inside I am just in denial. They are still my little babies, though we constantly fight about unfinished chores, inside of my heart, they are still the tiny babies that I only have unconditional love for.

Time does move so fast, too fast for anyone to catch up to. I say, make the most of life with your kids (if you have any) because they are only little just for a very short time. TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES! You'll thank yourself after. I'm glad I did. I could have taken more though. There could never be enough pictures.

 It's nice to look at old photos specially on special events. I know I'd be doing this all over again on their wedding day. Oh my, I hope time does not move that fast.

Super pretty weekend!

Our weekend was all about family, food and shopping! We went to so many places and stuffed ourselves like always!

On Saturday, I went thrifting with my mom and sister. we went to thrift stores and yard sales which I forgot to take photos of! But I will show you my vintage finds later.

I can never have enough retro headphones! Loving this pink one.

I finally found a case for my zi8 camcorder. And for $3.99 only, well, I got lucky!

We finally got the magic mouse for our mac. Super sleek!

Got these super cool shoes for only $4.99 and they are brand new! Got them from Journeys on clearance.

I love them so much!

These yellow shoes reminded me of Katy Perry. I really love it but were too big for me. These were only $9.99.

I'm loving my new chalkboard labeled jars!

And the yummiest carrot cookie sandwiches from Trader Joe's. Oh you must try it!

Then on Sunday, it was my sister's birthday, so lots of food and sweets involved and after that, more shopping. Very tiring but we were all happy, except my mister's wallet.

You must check the new Alice in Wonderland collection at Forever 21! I went absolutely crazy when I saw all those super pretty dresses and lots and lots of bows and laces embellishments on the clothes!I was disappointed the first time I saw the collection after the film came out but now they've really improved and added so much merchandise. I was quite overwhlemed. It was heaven!

We finally found the perfect dresses for the girl's culmination. Photos coming soon! Promise!

I think he'd love it but he has more shoes than anyone in the family!

I have been too busy lately.

Watching this.

Yes, the L word! I'm 2 years late and I had to catch up. I saw seasons 2-5 all in 3 days! Yes, that meant 4 hours of sleep and absolutely no chores. I mean, almost no chores. I love the show and too bad it's already over. I didn't really watch all the sex scenes because it can be a bit too much but the plots are awesome, except for season 5 where I think they changed the writers from the previous seasons. Season 5 was torture, not really exciting.

I love Shane! Does anybody here like the show? Who was your favorite character?

I am still waiting for Season 6 from Netflix since it wasn't included in their streaming. Bummer.

By the way I saw this Zac Posen dress for Target. Loved it but not really into the very red color.The black ones were all sold.This was on sale for $55!

We also had this super yummy pancakes with chocolate and bavarian filling. I always forget what they're called.

still trying to get used to the dog's new look. It's like having a stranger dog in the house.

and I can't stop staring at this guy who has recently learned a few tricks.

Like pretending he got hurt and would walk while limping so I can kiss his knee. And when he tries to resist my kisses and laughs as he moves his face away from me and runs away screaming and laughing.

I love him more and more each day.

Baked these gluten-free brownies today. They are very yummy. Tonight, my mister and I are off to one of his shows. And by the way I also finally got the zi8 from the mail yesterday. The video quality is very good but not really for dark or poorly lit rooms. I don't know if it'll work tonight at the show. I'll try anyway. I will post videos soon.


My blogger is having all these font color problems (amongst other things) and I'm thinking of switching to typepad. Is anybody reading this uses typepad? Is it worth the monthly subscription? Please share your experience. Thanks!

Pretty hand soap

I've been wanting this uber chic French soap and I finally have one! And guess where I found it? The least place you would expect to find it... Costco! I love, love, love it. I didn't even know that the container would be glass. I've always thought it was plastic.

Awesome weekend!

We had an awesome Memorial day! We went to a family friend's birthday party, they happen to have a pool so the kids had so much fun swimming for hours and hours and hours.

This little boy didn't want to leave the water, ever.

He had the most fun of all the people there. For sure!

My daughter found a lady bug and she was oh so very pretty! After we enjoyed staring at her, she then set her free. I love that my kids are very nature-friendly that I don't even have to tell them what to do, they just do the right thing.

I stayed under the huge umbrella and laid down and relaxed for hours.I loved every minute of it. Just laying there as I watch my family have so much fun in the water. It's the best feeling in the world, really.

Until it was time to go. There was a bit of struggle because this little boy didn't want to leave but he fell asleep as soon as he got on his car seat. Problem solved.
